As a Receiving or Shipping Associate, you must be able to work in a Yamaha team-oriented environment. You also need to be able to communicate well with management and fellow employees. A positive attitude is a must and key to success!
RECEIVING ASSOCIATE Responsibilities:
Unload, sort boxes from trucks and verify packing slip against merchandise.
Enter information into computer system, must be computer literate.
Unpack product, inspect for quality and quantity, check the part numbers for accuracy and put
away merchandise.
Inventory control management
May have to assist in other areas of warehouse occasionally.
Attention to detail with part numbers.
Specific Requirements for the Receiving Associate Position:
Experience working in warehouse receiving department.
Minimum 4 months warehouse experience.
Must have experience in cycle counting, picking and packing for general warehouse duty knowledge.
Must have experience using an RF Scanner.
Display a positive attitude.
Must have good attendance and arrive on time for shift.
Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to reach and bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have basic math skills for counting.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be detail oriented, accuracy is important.
SHIPPING ASSOCIATE Responsibilities:
Complete tasks of cycle counting, picking and packing orders.
Use of hand-held scanner to read orders.
Manually picking product from warehouse stock bins to fill orders.
Manually packing product.
Staging product.
Ensure correct and complete labels are attached to correct order.
Putting away orders to the correct location.
Replenish area inventory and performing other related warehouse duties as assigned.
Specific Requirements for the Warehouse Associates Position:
Previous experience using RF Scanner
Previous experience in picking product.
Minimum of 4 months previous warehouse experience.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.
Display a positive attitude.
Must have good attendance and arrive on time for shift.
Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to reach and bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have basic math skills for counting.
Same-day shipments may require mandatory overtime.
