We are 44 year old, year-round agricultural business located just south of Burlington producing and distributing fresh organic mushrooms and value added foods. Business is growing and we need a motivated, hands-on person to fill a new position managing our daily production and distribution.
The position responsibilities include maintaining control of an inventory and ERP (software) system, coordinating of wholesale orders and the customer interactions that support it.
Relevant experience includes hands-on warehouse picking and fulfillment, wholesale invoicing and customer communication, customer service and basic order fulfillment and inventory logic.
There is some lifting and packaging that takes place in this position and you need to be physically fit. The weekly work schedule is Sunday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday will be standard days off for this position.
Experience with the following is helpful but not essential:
The basics of Quickbooks and/or general accounting software
Basic record keeping as it relates to inventory management OR a formal ERP system
