Neat Repeats Thrift Shop is seeking to hire a person for the position of Assistant to the Manager. This is a paid, part-time position of 15-20 hours per week.
Job Description:
Neat Repeats believes that providing great service to our customers and volunteers is the key to our store being successful. The Assistant Manager position is responsible for carrying out that goal through positive and effective communication with customers and volunteers, as well as efficient operation of the store. This role involves assisting the Store Manager with recruiting and training volunteers, processing sales, maintaining inventory, and responding to customer concerns and complaints. Were looking for a friendly and ambitious professional who wants to begin or continue a career in retail management.
Responsibilities:
Recruit and train volunteers
Assist with marketing and advertising
Assist customers as necessary
Assist in receiving department, as necessary
Oversee several departments
Other tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
2+ years experience in a retail setting
High school diploma/GED required
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Proficient user of Microsoft Office and email
Excellent customer service, communication, collaborative, and motivational skills
Experience working with volunteers is a plus
