Position Title: Customer Service - Claims Agent

Wage: $19-$23/hour

Shift: 1st; Days

This company is a leading designer and producer of energy efficient lighting and retrofit lighting solutions for commercial and industrial buildings. They manufacture and market connected lighting systems encompassing LED solid-state lighting and smart controls. This company is growing and looking for an enthusiastic, articulate team member for their Customer Service “ Claims Agent role. If you are driven, passionate and committed, then this company is the right place for you! This is a temp to hire opportunity in the Manitowoc area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Successfully execute the warranty, returns, replacement, and freight claims processes

- Develop in-depth knowledge of warranty, returns, replacement, and freight claims processes

- Educate and help customers and other sales professionals to understand processes

- Understand and assist with educating customers on terms and conditions and warranties

- Resolve claims within prescribed authority levels

- Triage and analyze complex customer claims and customer project requirements

- Investigate each claim to obtain relevant facts to make appropriate warranty determinations

- Refer claims beyond authority level as appropriate, based on exposure and established guidelines; involve the appropriate subject experts as needed

- Maintain a high level of knowledge and proficiency of company products, services, systems, and department needs

- Create exceptional customer experiences and build relationships with company partners

- Develop and maintain high proficiency in navigating and interacting with current ERP system (Microsoft - Dynamics AX,) Salesforce, and all other interface systems that support all sales operations

- Interface with all other business units (Finance, Accounting, Sales Support, Manufacturing, and etc.)

- Participate in short, daily Works in Progress (WIP) meetings

Requirements:

- Associate degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent years of education and/or experience

- 2 years of related experience (prefer as Claims Agent or similar role)

- Relevant experience in an office environment with multi-department communication with various levels of corporate structure within a team environment; both internal and external

- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

- Enjoy problem solving and is naturally inquisitive

- Exhibit exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal

- Customer-focused orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
