The Food and Beverage Manager will exceed the expectations of all Siebkens Resort guests in a multitude of tasks that include, but are not limited to, elevating the focus on F&B within the resort, developing robust systems with the management team, implementing effective operational strategies, and ensuring all F&B outlets perform effectively. The Food & Beverage Manager will work closely with the General Manager to ensure consistent policies and procedures are followed and that performance goals are met.
Specific Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities:
â¢ Be courteous, friendly, and helpful to fellow employees, vendors, and guests
â¢ Respond to guestsâ needs in a timely and professional manner
â¢ Communicate well with other departments of the resort
â¢ Adhere to Siebkens Resort vision statement and core values, as well as all standards of operations, policies, procedures, manuals, training material, etc.
â¢ Develop, train, and support all Front of House Staff
â¢ Be onsite at all Food and Beverage locations regularly
â¢ Develop departmental objectives, budgets, policies, procedures, and strategies for existing and new positions
â¢ Demonstrate an understanding of labor cost control through effective scheduling
â¢ Consistently conduct an accurate inventory on supplies
â¢ Handle guest complaints and resolve problems to the guestsâ satisfaction
â¢ Ensure that meals are served in a professional and timely manner by circulating within the outlet and communicating with the kitchen and servers
â¢ Communicate daily station allocation, side work, F&B specials, and daily events
â¢ Ensure staff has a complete understanding of their job requirements and sufficient training before holding them accountable for results
â¢ Hold staff accountable for their job performance through regular performance evaluations
â¢ Ensure open lines of communication with staff, all departments, and upper management via email, meetings, etc. to ensure all needs of the resort are met
â¢ Attend relevant meetings at the resort
â¢ Identify problems and opportunities for improvement, plan solutions, and set goals for the Food & Beverage department
â¢ Maintain a professional appearance and tidy work space at all times
