Position Title: Production Technician
Wage: $12.36 - $12.86/hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd
Hours: 6:45am 3:15pm, 2:45pm - 11:15pm or 10:45pm - 7:15am

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Production Technician at a company in Manitowoc, WI. This is a temp to hire position for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. The main responsibility of the Production Technician is to assist in the production of plastic parts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Produce, finish, inspect, package and label part from injection molding machines
- Read written work instructions to operate injection molding equipment
- Identify and document quality problems
- Clip or trim finished parts using hand tools
- Assemble finished parts
- Measure finished parts using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Operate various pieces of secondary equipment including mills, CNCs and drill presses
- Monitor scrap
- Provide backup assistance in production and assembly as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous industrial experience
- Able to stand or walk for duration of shift
- Able to reach, stoop, kneel, bend and crouch throughout shift
- Able to lift up to 60lbs
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Able to read, write and understand English
- Positive attitude
