Receiving Line Operators
2nd Shift
$13.75 Per Hour
2-2-3 Schedule â 12 Hour Shifts
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
⢠Transports bins of fruit via forklift from holding area to receiving line and then deposits the fruit into the hopper.
⢠Enters data for the bins, berries, etc into computer at holding area.
⢠Monitors conveyor operation, color sorter, seed bag and slicer .
⢠Disposes plastic tote liners in the dumpster, and gathers loose berries and debris for the waste tote.
⢠Empties seed bag and other bins/carts.
⢠Breaks down totes, stacking and moving them.
⢠Completes any necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
⢠Keeps work area clean and orderly using common cleaning equipment. Preps equipment for cleaning using lock out procedures. Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and practices in assigned area, including written procedures for safe handling and use of chemical compounds.
⢠Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
⢠Must be able to work regularly scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
⢠Sanitation chemical training is necessary.
⢠Forklift experience is required.
⢠Ensures product meets all quality assurance.
⢠Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
⢠Must have good written and verbal communication skills and perform mathematical calculations.
