Sawyers
Badger State Staffing has many openings for Sawyers. Sawyers are responsible for Setting up and Operating a saw, Positioning lumber onto saw to be cut into different lengths and angles, and measuring lengths of cut boards to ensure they are cut properly.
Paid on the Job Training!
There are first and second shift positions available. Safety is the number one priority. After safety, lean manufacturing and teamwork are second priority. Pay starts at $12 or $13 per hour, with the opportunity for more based on attendance and work ethic.
Pay $12-$13 per hour-$15-$16 after probationary period
1st and 2nd shift positions
Skills:
Able to read a tape measure
Previous saw handling a plus but willing to train
Able to read blueprints or willing to learn
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day
Prioritizing work as instructed
Required
Steel toe boots/shoes
Able to adapt to changing work positions
Willing to work in a team environment
Open to cross-training
