Pilers
Badger State Staffing has Many positions for Pilers. Pilers are responsible for Taking lumber that has been sent through the saw and cut, and stack it onto carts, and Banding each carts lumber so that it is secure during transport to its desired location.
Paid On the Job Training!
There are first and second shift positions available, but a greater need on second shift. Safety is the number one priority. After safety, lean manufacturing and teamwork are second priority. Pay starts at $12 or $13 per hour, with the opportunity for more based on attendance and work ethic.
Pay $12-$13 per hour-$15-$16 after probationary period
1st and 2nd shift positions
Skills:
Able to read a tape measure
Able to read blueprints or willing to learn
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day
Prioritizing work as instructed
Required
Steel toe boots/shoes
Able to adapt to changing work positions
Willing to work in a team environment
Open to cross-training
