Badger State Staffing has two openings for Process Operators. Responsibilities include operating assigned machinery, along with being a back-up for when other operators are gone. It is also necessary to function as a team leader when the supervisor is not there. Skills are listed below.
Full-Time, starting at $17.55 per hour
Responsibilities
Follow Standard Operating Procedures for plant start-up, shut down, cleaning and preparing machinery for the next operation.
Knowledge of a good grade environment necessary.
Keep accurate and timely logs.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
Monitor and make entries on the computer as needed.
Watch machinery for any errors and report issues to supervisor.
Responsible for notifying Production/ Plant Manager of any production problems.
Complete any and all tasks assigned by the Plant Manager/Production Manager.
Help back up the supervisor as needed.
Available for call in work and overtime as needed.
Follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Be able to operate forklift and pallet jack.
Prior experience with machine set up, monitoring, changing over and take down needed.
Must be able to focus and be self-motivated.
Detail-oriented; proficiency for accuracy; dependable; positive attitude; team player.
Ability to multi-task and take ownership of assigned projects.
Prior experience with food equipment sanitization.
