Epic is looking for a talented Server Infrastructure Engineer to join our multi-tenanthostingteam. As a team member for our server team, you'll provide design and implementation support of our large x86 server infrastructure in the US and the UK. You'll build and manage complex data center interoperability and configuration. Additionally, you'll troubleshoot performance issues that require hands-on experience with OS Support (VMware, Windows, Linux), Servers (Blade, rack-mount), storage, and networking.

Requirements

Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed)

Hands-on administration and troubleshooting experience with blade, rack-mount, and virtual server infrastructure

Experience with server management products such as Cisco UCS Central, Lenovo xClarity Administrator, or Dell OpenManage Enterprise

Practical application of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Go, or Python

Server resource capacity management and system tuning

A history of academic and professional success

Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience with Cisco's Unified Computing System (B/C Series and Fabric Interconnects), Dell, or Lenovo servers

Knowledge of VMware HA, DRS, and server/storage VMotion

Experience troubleshooting Server side SAN and network configurations

Experience in replacing CPUs, DIMMs, power supplies, or other server hardware

Certifications in one or more of the following is a plus: VCP, CCNA-DC, CCNP-DC
