Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring networked computing devices, classroom and audio/visual technology is supported by the Desktop Services Team to meet the needs of end users.

Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the purchase and licensing of computer hardware, software, classroom technology and audio/visual equipment.
Manage the installation and upgrades of all district-owned, networked computers, including classroom technology and audio/visual equipment.
Manage computer software image creation, installation and upgrades.
Maintain system documentation, hardware inventory and vendors' software support schedule.
Responsible for the creation and management of budgets related to areas of responsibility.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage the help desk ticketing system and contract.
Participate in and assist Desktop Services Team in the installation, troubleshooting and support of network computing devices, classroom technology and audio/visual equipment.
Responsible for managing team members to ensure special events are planned for and executed properly to ensure event success.
Supervise, support, and evaluate staff in area of responsibility.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field required.
Minimum three years of experience in information technology field required. Working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM preferred.
Prior supervisory experience in a computing environment required.
Knowledge of Active Directory, desktop operating systems, classroom and audio/visual technologies and current trends in computing hardware and software.
Must possess excellent problem resolution, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
Must possess ability to:
