In House Attorney Job Summary:
TAKKION is seeking a Lawyer to join our team in Casper, Wyoming. The successful applicant will work closely with senior management to provide advice, with an emphasis on a wide variety of contracts. The ideal candidate must be able to hit the ground running, taking the lead in sometimes complex negotiations with internal and external business partners. The attorney will possess a willingness to learn and understand internal business, operational, financial, and technical matters to provide sound legal advice and risk analysis, while simultaneously assisting business clients in achieving their commercial objectives. Previous experience in M&A is desired.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead commercial contract review, drafting, and negotiations across multiple lines of business, clearly and concisely identifying and explaining the ramifications of contractual terms to the business decision-makers and third parties
Investigate, negotiate, and resolve contract disputes
Recommend and execute on process improvements
Develop and conduct training sessions for internal team members on procedures and contract or legal topics as necessary
Work with legal, business, finance, and operations teams to prepare, implement, and improve internal forms, processes, and policies
Foster and develop a culture of teamwork, employee development and accountability.
Contribute broadly to the leadership of the businesses, working effectively with senior management and creating strong trusted advisor relationships with the business leaders

Required:
Juris Doctor from accredited law school
Member of the Wyoming State Bar and in good standing
3+ years of relevant legal experience
Previous experience with M&A transactions is a bonus
Excellent writing, drafting and verbal communication skills
Able to quickly identify issues, communicate the Company’s position, exercise sound legal and business judgment, interact in a professional and effective manner, and close deals
Strong organizational, time-management and prioritization capabilities; able to manage workload and consistently meet deadlines independently, efficiently and with minimal supervision
Process and detail oriented
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook) as well as the ability to learn and use other computer systems and databases
Must be a team player dedicated to contributing to a positive work environment

The budgeted range starts at $100,000 - $140,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
