The Marketing and Communication Manager is responsible for the development and supervision of all marketing and communications functions for the company and works with the CRO to create and execute on marketing and business strategies This includes creating, implementing, and overseeing communications to effectively describe and promote EMI/EMU and its products including graphics, brochures, company or product fact sheets and other promotional productsThis person manages the research and development of content for publication of products and creates informative and timely content. Manages information dissemination including building relationships with key local and national media contacts. This position ensures project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. The Marketing Communications Manager will streamline team communication by using existing project management platforms and contributing to the development of more efficient processes.

Responsibilities

What are the primary and essential functions of the role?

  • Act as first point of contact for all media inquiries
  • Develop and execute a results-driven, multi-platform communications strategy and plan in line with corporate and brand direction.
  • Track effectiveness of various campaigns and course corrections as required.
  • Manage communications spending and working with vendors and agencies to create and/or localize communications and marketing activities and develop supporting assets.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of PR and initiatives related to the brand.
  • Create and manage all marketing materials and collateral in line with brand direction
  • Lead the communication strategy, planning and execution to guide the development of new client and partner strategies, plans and communications.
  • Work with strategy and business leaders to build and execute communications tactics to effectively connect with new partners. Develop effective and efficient content deliverables to connect with partners and help present the partnership ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and identified partners to develop case studies, white papers, execute events, webinars, and more.

Requirements

What education and/or experience must the candidate have to be considered?

  • Undergraduate degree or higher in communications, public relations, journalism, mass communication, or related areas.
  • 7+ years relevant communications experience in business public relations, journalism and expertise among many communication disciplines. Cryptocurrency industry experience is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cheyenne, WY 82001: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Marketing: 7 years (Preferred)
