Reports To: Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Hotels Division


Scope of Work:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for development of visual content, organic social media, and event/promotion planning and marketing execution for Little America Cheyenne. Content will include video and photography capture for the hotel and multiple lines of business represented on property. Night, weekend, holiday work, and travel will be required. Candidate must be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and in various aspects of Marketing and Public Relations.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute organic content strategy and content deployment, with guidance from Marketing Manager
  • Produce high quality video and still photography
  • Manage social media communities, include leading the hotels’ social media response to questions and engagement
  • Support Creative Requests from multiple departments, as assigned
  • Regular Billboard audits and management with oversight by Marketing Manager
  • Website updates
  • Support PR needs, as directed by Marketing Director and PR agency
  • Collaborate w/ IT team to distribute content through on-property digital screens
  • Manage resort photo and video shoots with 3rd party creative vendors
  • Oversee the hotel media library
  • Regularly track social media growth and reporting
  • Manage the Hotel Influencer program
  • Partner with hotel departments on special event planning and marketing execution
  • Collaborate with additional properties from Grand America Hotels & Resorts to share best practices.
  • Manage Guest Reviews on all platforms
  • Work with local tourism bureaus to use cooperative networking opportunities.
  • Maintain a professional image in appearance, attire, and conduct at all times.
  • Adhere to hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Attend required meetings, both onsite and with PR/Marketing/Media staff at other properties.
  • Attends Sales/PR related functions within the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in social media platforms
  • Knowledge of Later, Canva, and Asana
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

Physical Demands:

  • Work involves exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
