Follow detailed and standardized procedures in performing routine accounting clerical operations. Perform a variety of support duties related to the accounting function within the credit union.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Process ACH and Share Draft Exceptions
2. Process and monitor ACH Originations
3. Analyze and reconcile general ledger for various accounts as assigned.
4. Balance various general ledger accounts
5. Verify the accuracy of postings and resolve any discrepancies.
6. Post overdraft notices.
7. Issue and monitor ACH and Share Draft stop payments
8. Assist in solving member issues or questions on EFT/ACH.
9. Send all bank to bank wires and Western Union wires.
10. Backups other accountants within the department to cover as people are out of the office.
11. Working knowledge of garnishment procedures.
12. Adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations applicable to the credit union, including the Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC.

· Assist or provide back-up support to Finance Services Director.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Certification/Licensure Required
State of Wyoming valid driver’s license (or state with reciprocity) and current automobile insurance meeting State of Wyoming minimum limits.
Current State of Wyoming, Campbell County Notary Public Commission

All employees (full time, part time and temporary) are required to complete this training on an annual basis. If the employee refuses to complete the above training requirements, this will be grounds for immediate dismissal.
