Welding Instructors Needed! Western Welding Academy is the fastest growing Welding School in America. Due to very high demand and a massive influx of Students, we are currently hiring world class Welding Instructors. We are looking for the best of the best. Pay Range $23/hr+ Depending on Experience
Full Time - 40-50 hours/week
Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:00 pm 1st shift
Monday – Friday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm 2nd shift
Monday – Friday 10:00 pm – 6:00 am 3rd shift
Minimum Qualifications: 4-5 years’ experience welding pipe and/or structural in the field.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience training welders on the job or as a welding instructor. Proficient in SMAW, FCAW, GTAW pipe and/or plate with open roots.
The Instructor is responsible for providing leadership in instruction, safety, production and quality control in alignment with Western Welding Academy's vision and core values. He/She is responsible for providing leadership and direction for instructor assistants and the entire student body in operating a safe and efficient shop. It is essential that the instructor work collaboratively with other instructors and the Lead Instructor to enforce and abide by all Western Welding Academy's policies and standards. The Instructor shall model and communicate the mission/vision and core values to all stakeholders, staff and students. Instructors will consistently evaluate student progress toward curriculum goals and objectives. The Instructor shall report directly to the Lead Instructor on all issues.
