The HR Business Partner will partner with the Green River site leadership and department heads to strengthen teams and team members at Green River and strengthen focus on safety, people, and continuous improvement.

Duties include:

  • Collaborate with Site teams to maximize team member engagement, enhance and strengthen employee skills, and help achieve financial and operational goals through effective HR process procedures.

  • Establish credibility as a coach and confidant to assigned site leaders. Maintain and enhance communication with workforce and establish HR as a key member of the leadership team.

  • Manage HR processes and programs designed to build talent, reinforce and enhance culture and improve overall quality, responsiveness and reliability.

  • Ensure effective service delivery that meets site’s needs.

  • Work with the managers to assess and build operational talent.

  • Provide functional support including but not limited to: employee relations, talent management, performance management, organizational effectiveness policy and procedure interpretation and application.

  • Build and enhance the credibility of HR at all levels of the organization by being accessible, approachable, and available and by keeping commitments and being trustworthy.

  • Up to 20% travel may be required.

Competencies and Experience

We are seeking an experienced HR professional who has relevant business experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong business mind-set and a breadth of Human Resources functional experience in a premier, global corporation.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related business field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a respected and “best practice” manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated skill driving change within an organization, influencing and advising business leadership by providing valuable, forward thinking HR guidance, coaching and counseling at a strategic level.

  • Must also be “hands-on” and have a detail-oriented approach to work.

  • Skilled in evaluating, developing, and catalyzing the level of talent within an organization.

  • Skilled at working effectively in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated high degree of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Demonstrated advanced strategic, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Demonstrated track record of excellent execution.

  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to all levels with a diverse workforce.

  • Demonstrated high integrity and willingness to learn.

Experience

Required

  • 5 - 7 years: Minimum 5 years of experience in a respected and “best practice” manufacturing environment.
