SUMMARY:
Under direction, performs a wide variety of advanced journey level professional, administrative, analytical, and coordination duties in support of human resources functions and programs including HRIS (human resources information system), employee relations, recruitment, selection, performance evaluation, training, staff development, classification, compensation, job evaluation, benefits, and policy; to oversee and coordinate assigned administrative processes, procedures, and programs; and to provide highly responsible and complex staff assistance to the Human Resources Director.

Coordinates and facilities activities for Safety Committee; review claims and indemnity reports for accuracy and completeness; tracks history and current employee activities; coordinates county-wide safety training and ensures individual department safety manuals are current as appropriate.
