The ACLU seeks a full-time position of Immigrants' Rights Attorney in the ACLU's National office in Jackson, WY.
Reporting to the Executive Director of the ACLU of Wyoming, the Immigrants' Rights Attorney will be responsible for expanding the ACLU of Wyoming's work to protect the rights of immigrants. The Immigrants' Rights Attorney will have three primary responsibilities: (1) educate immigrant communities and the general public about immigrant rights; (2) identify systemic government abuses of power that the ACLU should challenge through advocacy or litigation; (3) represent immigrants in bond hearings and hold government agencies accountable to the rule of law. This is a two-year grant-funded position.
