We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Recruiter with full cycle recruiting experience, and a background preferably working at an advertising, marketing agency, or a start-up. The ideal candidate will have built a recruiting process from the ground up, have extensive sourcing skills and can manage a high-volume of open roles, pipeline passive candidates, and engage talent. This role will manage a recruiter and work closely with leadership to build out a talent strategy and provide prospective candidates and new hires with an exceptional experience.

This role will be responsible for managing recruitment activities, sourcing, screening and making offers, and managing job openings across multiple teams. This role is dynamic and evolving, therefore, we need someone who is comfortable in a fast paced, start-up environment, who can adapt and apply the skills necessary to complete the duties and responsibilities assigned.

We need someone who has excellent recruiting, project management and organizational skills, keen attention to detail, a passion for driving improvement, and can thrive in new and challenging environments. Our Senior Recruiter will have experience working in a start-up environment, can take initiative, able to prioritize competing needs and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

    • Drive recruitment efforts to hire top talent for the organization
    • Play a pivotal role in shaping CourtAvenues recruitment strategy and employee experience

    • Own the full-cycle recruiting process, facilitating, and implementing all phases
    • Manage job posting, sourcing and screening applicants, selecting qualified candidates, developing and delivering offers, supporting onboarding process

    • Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
    • Determine open roles, ensure alignment on future talent needs, and create best practices for the organization

    • Maintain communication with managers and candidates to ensure an exceptional candidate experience

    • Maintain recruitment database, source passive candidates, and create pipelines

    • Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
    • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on available roles, industry standards, and the needs of the organization

    • Collaborate with leadership during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies

    • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

    • 7+ years of experience, preferably in a start-up environment, and within a marketing/advertising agency

    • Extensive experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process

    • Ability to manage a recruiter as well as own their own requisitions

    • Extremely detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, time-management, and project managements skill
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

    • Professional demeanor with a willingness to learn and ability to maneuver changing priorities

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Lever

    • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills

    • Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple roles and needs in a complex, fast-paced environment

    • SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus
