The Human Resources Manager will be helping in fostering Union's culture while serving in all areas of Human Resources.
SUMMARY Manages operational and administrative human resource activities, policy application, procedures, and programs. Accountability for administration of employment, benefits, and general departmental activities such as budget, recordkeeping, and salary administration by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages assigned human resource professionals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; developing; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree or equivalent in human resources or related discipline or five- to seven-years related experience with direct responsibility over human resource functions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Operator's License
Acceptable driving record
PHR, SPHR or equivalent certification
