About The Role


Summary


The Account Reconcilement Specialist I will be employed within the Finance and Accounting department of Glacier Bancorp, Inc. The Accounts Reconcilement Specialist reconciles routine balance sheet, income statement and select internal depository accounts. Attention to detail, motivation to research and resolve reconciling items, and passion for the work is essential. Builds strong relationships with Corporate Department and Division personnel and is responsible for providing exceptional and consistent customer service and support in an efficient manner. Team members approach conversations attentively with respect, patience and concern for the issue presented. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating, and/or advising others on matters of significance.


This is a Corporate position which may be located at an available bank division location across our eight-state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, UT, WA, or WY. The entry rate for this position is $17.56+ / per hour (calculated for Kalispell, MT).

All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.


Description

  • Complete reconciliation process for routine balance sheet accounts and certain income statement accounts, along with internal accounts. Work closely with Corporate Departments and Divisions to ensure reconciliations are clear of reconciling items and underlying balances are supported accordingly.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Division personnel ensuring prompt, knowledgeable, consistent service and support. Acts as an enthusiastic, positive and motivated team member and contribute eagerly to team goals.
  • Confirm correctness of paper and journal entries for the corporate departments and GBCI.
  • Adheres to guidance in the General Ledger Manual.
  • Serves as a point of contact to resolve accounting issues for Corporate Department and GBCI including, but not limited to, support and general ledger account mapping.
  • Collaborates with internal and external auditors, as needed.
  • Assists with the annual risk assessment review.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the General Ledge Manual, Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
