Your responsibilities will include maintenance and/or repair of: ballistic computers, a variety of laser enabled devices, optical equipment, and thermal imaging systems; commander's weapon station/auxiliary sights, aiming circles, image transfer assemblies, quadrants, mount assemblies, and fire control support equipment; test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment; and battlefield damage assessment and repair.

Job training for a Fire Control Repairer consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 19 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, including training in equipment operation. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in a field environment.
