Vacutech LLC, the largest private employer in Sheridan, Wyoming, is seeking an Accountant to join our expanding team.

Responsibilities:

Able to reconcile bank statements.

Provide supervision and oversight of the Accounting Department.

All accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Financial Reporting:

• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting is completed accurately and timely.

Accounts Payable:

• Supervise all areas of the accounts payable function.

• Oversee vendor setup, invoice approval, proper account coding, and check printing.

• Ensure accounts payable are paid timely, while maximizing allowed vendor payment timing.

• Assist the purchasing department in managing vendor relationships.

Sales and Use Tax:

• Willingness to learn sales tax compliance and ensure all sales and use tax filings are completed accurately and timely.

• Manage sales tax audits as necessary.

Other Duties as Assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years in an accounting supervisor or related role

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Office and PowerPoint

• Hands on experience with financial reporting, accounts payable, fixed assets, and sales/use tax

• Knowledge of general accounting practices and account reconciliations

• Well informed of current financial subjects and business environments
