JOB SUMMARY
The Trauma Coordinator is a registered nurse who is responsible for monitoring and coordinating trauma services to ensure an organized multidisciplinary team approach to the care of the trauma patient. This responsibility begins with the pre-hospital care and extends through reintegration into society. The Trauma Coordinator works both independently and in collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director (TMD) and other members of the healthcare team.
