Easterseals Wyoming (ESW) provides support to adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities (IDD) and other significant barriers. This position is responsible for managing the business operations of programs in Sheridan Wyoming through engaged support of the ESW Management Team. This position requires a strong knowledge of Medicaid billing practices, superior organization, leadership and computer skills. Duties require independent judgment and minimal supervision including: oversight of day-to-day business operations, financial and Medicaid billing, data management and reporting. Ensures programs are audit ready at all times. Super-user and responsible for managing and supporting staff in utilization of Therap (Electronic Health Record software system). Responsible for facilitating the creation, maintaining and training of policies and procedures for operations with the support of the leadership team. Oversight to ensure deadlines are met for contracts, leases, audits (Programs and HUD), safety inspections, meetings, trainings, board reports and certifications.


Works with minimal supervision to ensure systems are in place so business operations run smooth and align with ESW and funding sources requirements. Works closely with Supervisor, Quality and Compliance, ESGW finance, human resources, IT, and other key leadership staff as needed. Responsible for understanding and applying Federal and State Laws, waiver service definitions, and billing processes while ensuring compliance requirements of the program are met and staff are trained. Represents the organization externally within the community and with business partners. Ensures ongoing quality performance indicators are collected, analyzed, monitored, and reported. Communicates concerns or issues with direct supervisor. Attends monthly Provider webinars with Behavioral Health Division training and shares information with leadership team in Wyoming, and staff as needed.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional computer and other technology skills required to be demonstrated prior to employment.
  • Proven organizational skills and project management experience.
  • Ability to plan and develop training material.
  • Must be well-groomed and pleasant with the public.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of environments including outdoors.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance.

Physical Requirements


  • Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
  • Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
  • Applicant must pass a background and DMV check.


Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree - 3-5 years
  • In office management, Business Administration or related field
  • Degree may not be required if candidate can demonstrate experience and proficiency in required areas.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities required or in vocational or employment services.
