The Maintenance Technician performs master level heating, ventilation and air-conditioning work required to maintain and repair electric, electronic and pneumatic control systems, with their supporting machinery, specialized temperature control equipment, heating/air-conditioning equipment. The Technician will perform maintenance functions associated with facilities systems. This includes but is not limited to structural, electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning/ventilation.
Sheridan College is located in historic Sheridan, WY at the foot of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains, minutes away from a variety of outdoor recreational activities. Gillette College is located in Gillette, WY, the county seat of Campbell County. Located midway between the Big Horn Mountains to the West and the Black Hills of South Dakota to the east. Gillette is a growing, family-friendly community and enjoys a very strong economy due to energy-related industries located there.
NWCCD also includes a small campus site in Buffalo, WY.
Experience in HVAC field of five years.

These are the job duties for required of the position.
HVAC: Troubleshoot, repair, maintain or overhaul HVAC systems including temperature control devices and refrigeration equipment.
Control systems: work with different control systems on a daily basis to ensure campus buildings are comfortable. This includes scheduling, troubleshooting and programing of the control systems.
Input and complete preventative maintenance work orders for equipment and assets. Use and understand Outlook, Windows and other computer program systems.
Perform maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and other facility systems as needed and assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
Campus safety duties: facilities security, safety communication, and reporting.
Other related job duties as assigned.
