Work with College Success/TRIO program participants in an individual setting.
The College Success/TRIO Program is part of the federally funded TRiO Programs that work to help develop as individuals, citizens, and leaders as they successfully obtain their educational goals. The mission of the TRIO program is to retain Northern Wyoming Community College District TRIO program participants until they complete their degree, certificate, or transfer to a 4 year institute, and to foster an institutional climate supportive of student success. The program provides the upmost standard of services focusing on four different areas; Academic, Career, Financial, and Personal/social assistance. Program participants are students who are non-traditional or at-risk in need of supportive services.

Sheridan College is located in historic Sheridan, WY at the foot of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains, minutes away from a variety of outdoor recreational activities. Sheridan is ranked “America’s Top Western Town” by True West magazine and is a vibrant community. Sheridan College is a vital component in the community.
Gillette College is located in Gillette, WY, the county seat of Campbell County. Located midway between the Big Horn Mountains to the West and the Black Hills of South Dakota to the east. Gillette is a growing, family-friendly community and enjoys a very strong economy due to energy-related industries located there.
NWCCD also includes a small campus site in Buffalo, Wyoming.

These are the job duties for required of the position.
Tutoring non-traditional/at-risk students in various math levels.
Recording contacts and services provided into a program database.
Meeting TRiO program staff expectations of meetings and trainings.
