DESCRIPTION
Supervise and administer SAGE ERP systems and assist the information technology department in accordance with organizational policies and goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure proper functioning of the organization's information systems (including but not limited to the SAGE MAS 200 & MAS100 ERP system along with support for legacy solutions
Responsible for Data Base Administration, Report Writing and Delivery, Metric presentation, real-time reporting, and correction of system errors / omissions.
Ensure back-up, maintenance patches, upgrades, reports are completed in a timely fashion.
Develop Strategic Plans in coordination with all Departments for system improvement, reporting platforms, and data integrity while simultaneously maintaining compliance with current and future government regulations.
Responsible for continuous improvement in information delivery to Weatherby Inc. utilizing system(s) capabilities to the fullest potential for business process improvement.
Assist in day-to-day management and upkeep of computer equipment, hardware, and software updated to meet organizational needs
Support and administer data retention and recovery and production job schedule
Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn ways to develop programs that meet user requirements
Prepare flow charts, diagrams, and documents which illustrate sequence of process steps and tables-fields used within and between systems
Train new users and provides technical assistance
Manage and work with software vendors to correct bugs and/or in escalation of support calls.
Install and test programs/upgrades prior to general release.
Monitor performance of program after implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience
College or university program certificate; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Competencies
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
SQL, Python, Java programming / reporting experience.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customer, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discount, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
General understanding of the business cycle and accounting transactions
Ability to use and help users with common desktop applications

This job operates in a clerical office setting, routinely uses standard office equipment including computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, this position may be exposed to the manufacturing/factory environment and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in this work environment can be loud.
