GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Fifth Judicial District Court is seeking candidates possessing the requisite skills, qualifications, and required certifications of an Official Court Reporter for the Honorable Bobbi Overfield. The Fifth Judicial District covers Washakie, Big Horn, and Hot Springs counties. The court presides over felony criminal cases, large dollar amount civil cases, domestic relations, juvenile, probate, and other matters. This at-

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/
DUTIES: General expected duties for this position include making, preserving, transcribing, and delivery of the verbatim record of proceedings for criminal, civil, juvenile, and probate, and other cases as follows:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent plus completion of an accredited Court Reporter program.
Certification:
Must possess a minimum Registered Professional Reporter certification or equivalent certification from a certifying state within two (2) years of hire, and be proficient in computer-aided transcription and real-time.
Necessary Special Requirements
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires mobility to work in a typical office setting. Applicant must have the ability to:
Use standard office equipment.
Sit at a desk for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
Stand and/or walk occasionally too frequently.
Read printed materials and computer screens.
Communicate in person, by e-mail, video, or over the phone.
Lift up to 25 pounds at times.
