Badger Tank is currently seeking experienced Tank Trailer Mechanics to inspect, repair and perform preventative maintenance on tank trailers at our facility in the heart of the oil fields. Badger Tank is growing fast due to the explosive economic growth out here in the Bakken.
Our shop is located in Arnegard, one mile from Watford City, one of the most famous oil towns in Western North Dakota. Watford City has small town charm and the exciting atmosphere of a boomtown. We know you will like it here!

Currently we are seeking highly experienced and qualified Tank Trailer Technicians to join our team.
Tank Trailer Mechanic - (Senior or Lead)
Job Duties
⢠Perform mandatory DOT Inspections 406, 407, 312
⢠Repair tank and fabricate specialty parts and enhancements
⢠Aluminum welding and fabricating
Qualifications:
⢠Certified Tank Inspector (preferred)
⢠Minimum 5 years tank technician experience
⢠Must be certifiable in aluminum MIG and TIG
⢠Familiar with air brake repair and suspension repairs
⢠Prior tank trailer experience preferred.
⢠Must be able to pass a weld test.
⢠Basic tools required.
⢠Can operate a forklift
Physical and safety requirements
⢠Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
⢠Ability to work within confined spaces.
⢠Most job duties are indoor but must be able to withstand extreme cold on occasion
Compensation: $26 - $34 per hour plus overtime. Qualified, hardworking technicians typically take home a minimum of $85,000 per year.
