Job descriptionSummary: Execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential customers, identify their needs and sell appropriate merchandise to meet those needs.Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Manage assigned accounts
Generating and qualifying leads through cold calling
Managing leads by tracking and following up on them
Conducting sales presentations and product demos via the phone and internet
Closing sales and meeting monthly sales goals in accordance with development plan.
Producing activity reports
Cultivate new business opportunities
Support sales team in targeted promotions through mail, email, e-blasts, or verbal contact with outside rep groups
Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment
Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic sales skills
Self-motivated and willing to work independently
Professional and driven to succeed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques
Strong analysis and judgment skills
Proficient in MS Office software, especially MS Outlook and Excel
Education/TrainingHigh school diploma or GED
