As we continue to grow, PLCUSA Inc. is looking for a few skilled and experienced resources to complement the existing Installation team.
Since our customers plants are spread throughout the United States, the candidates must be willing and able to travel to contract sites.
JOB SUMMARY:
Crane Operator:
The position of Crane Operator will operate the crane safely and effectively. The operator must perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor. In addition, the Crane Operator may be required to perform minor repairs to the equipment and is to assist in the general operation of each job site.
Operate a crawler crane (70 and 110 ton);
Position equipment and parts according to layouts or as required;
Provide proper communication and direction to staff below;
Directing and assisting in rigging;
Operating all equipment, the employee is able to operate;
Operate forklifts, hoists as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three (3) years of similar experience.
Must possess the required certifications to operate applicable equipment.
High school or equivalent;
Verifiable experience;
Superior troubleshooting skills;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner;
Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
Solid background in heavy industry;
Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work;
Having access to your own transportation is a must;
