S. Government program in Huntsville Alabama.ManTech's Department of Justice Division is seeking a strategic leader for the Enterprise Data Analysis Section (EDAS) Services EDAS Portfolio. The role involves acquiring technical expertise to support IT networks, systems, and initiatives. The position is crucial for the success of FBI missions and requires specialized technical expertise in agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The SAFe methodology will be used to align Agile teams and deliver capabilities, ensuring effective work prioritization and successful delivery. Experience with SAFe implementation is essential to modernize and enhance capabilities within the EDAS portfolio.The Insider Threat Office mission operations contract support staff is responsible for maintaining several legacy systems, making minor enhancements to still-in-use applications, ensuring continued authority to operate, and ultimately sunsetting those systems after their functions have been subsumed or replaced by the Insider & Security Analytics Platform. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of the team accountable for system administration, information system security accreditation, database administration, physical infrastructure maintenance, and software development. You should have experience in Linux administration, VMWare vSphere 6/7, SPLUNK server administration, Dell Server, and SAN Storage hardware. Additionally, you should have experience with Docker, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Angular, JavaScript (including Ember.js), Spring Boot, Spring, and a focus on cloud skillsets, specifically AWS solution architecture. Strong expertise in Oracle database and MS SQL is required.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Independently execute test scripts to ensure the delivery of quality software for production release.
Supervise junior staff in writing test scripts, if applicable.
Develop and review requirements, specifications, and documentation to provide a thorough understanding of the programs and processes to be certified.
Provide estimates for assigned tasks.
Create and modify test scripts to certify system changes as the lead QA specialist.
Develop and maintain test control databases.
Ensure integrity and currency of test databases.
Distribute test data from the control database to development staff for adequate unit testing.
Define configuration management tasks, such as test scripts and source code control, as required.
Release completed projects into production.
Develop traceability matrices and test reports.
Perform major program changes or oversee the development of software programs, as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
10-12 years of related experience in quality assurance.
Strong expertise in executing test scripts and ensuring the delivery of quality software.
Experience in Linux administration, VMWare vSphere 6/7, SPLUNK server administration, Dell Server, and SAN Storage hardware.
Proficiency in Docker, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Angular, JavaScript (including Ember.js), Spring Boot, Spring.
Focus on cloud skillsets, specifically AWS solution architecture.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance.
