We are hiring: Accounting Specialist
Accounting Specialists are an important part of the AMDS / AME / AMSS teams. We are looking for someone that can juggle many tasks at the same time while keeping a positive attitude.
Primary responsibilities will include monitoring the accuracy of our major unit inventory by entering units in computer same day as physically received, reconciling outstanding payable invoices to flooring company statements to ensure there are no discrepancies, and initiating payments when applicable.
Other responsibilities include communicating with other employees regarding customer credit limit availability questions, sending monthly statements to customers to ensure all invoices have been received, providing additional invoice copies if customer requests, monitor Accounts Receivable aging to ensure payments are promptly received, and researching discrepancies.
Experience processing DMV titles and registration is a plus.
Experience reconciling end of day cash transactions is a plus.
Other duties to be assigned as needed.
Hours are Monday through Friday 9:30am to 6pm.
Applicant MUST have 5+ years accounting experience as well as the ability to operate computerized accounting programs and MS Office. This position supports all other departments so he/she will need to be able to have stellar attendance, work independently, and pay attention to detail.
