Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. This position requires working full-time on-site at our office, with no remote work options available. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage all aspects of financial operations independently while maintaining strict attention to detail and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Process payroll, including tax filings, employee benefits, and year-end reporting.

Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

Maintain and organize accurate records of all financial transactions.

Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

Monitor cash flow and manage expense reports.

Collaborate with external accountants during audits and tax preparation.

Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications:

=

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.

Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other financial reporting tools.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Experience in payroll processing and tax filings.

Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices (e.g., construction, retail, or non-profit).

Knowledge of ERP systems or additional financial management tools.
