Job Role/Description:

Looking for someone detailed orientated. Any kind of purchasing or estimating experience. Residential construction experience is a plus.

This position will be an integral part of our team and will be involved in many aspects of the company to keep the sales, pre-construction, and production aspects running seamlessly. You will assist the team with the initial estimating of design concepts, final pricing with complete plans, pricing client change orders, issuing trade partner purchase orders, and the timely purchase of materials.

Responsibilities/Duties:

 Work with our sales team and clients to provide accurate cost estimates

 Maintain parts and assembly systems for accurate budgets and estimates

 Preserve and improve price list

 Generate material takeoffs and bids for vendors

 Create and release purchase orders and material orders for all construction starts

 Create job scheduling packages for each job

 Assist with recruiting and onboarding new trade partners, vendors, and material suppliers

 Ensure quality control of final product via material research & craftsmanship monitoring

 Price client change orders

 Assist in providing feedback and identifying opportunities to improve costs and timelines

 Must possess the ability to prioritize work, multi-task and stay organized from a variety of sources

 Must be flexible to working in a team as well as independently

 Must be able to work under pressure and be deadline oriented

 Must show up to work on time and have reliable transportation

 Must be comfortable answering phone calls

 Must uphold strong sense of professionalism

 Must be adaptable & flexible to rapid changes in task work

 Must show attention to detail & ability to solve complex situations

 Must uphold additional rules listed in the Employee Handbook

Qualifications (required & preferred):

 Must have 1+ year(s) of Accounting/Office experience

 Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs

 Must have strong verbal & written communication skills

 Proven experience working in a similar capacity with either a homebuilder, remodeler, general contractor, a residential trade/supplier or lender/title company preferred but not required

 Knowledge of the residential construction industry including construction costs, materials, products, methods, and procedures preferred but not required

 A high level of understanding of blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, and other construction documents is preferred but not required

 Experience with construction accounting software/Sage is preferred but not required

 Actual hands-on experience in a trade is a plus
