Assistant Manager/Technician (Part Time or Full Time, Flexible Working Hours)
Job Description: Alaska Family Motorhomes is looking to hire an individual with a strong work ethic and good organizational skills. This position changes depending on the season as we are a Motorhome rental business during the Spring/Summer, and we transition into a vehicle/RV sales, mechanical maintenance, and custom van business in the Fall/Winter. DOE; This job is eligible for partial company ownership.
Responsibilities to include some or all of the following;
- Spring/Summer:
o Manage Staff and Schedule for Motorhome Rental Business to be primary or secondary contact for some/all of the following:
Contact customers concerning rentals incoming and outgoing
Customer coordination and relations
Perform/coordinate/schedule motorhome rentals as needed
o Assist in troubleshooting maintenance issues with Motorhomes
- Fall/Winter:
o Assist in Management, promotion & Scheduling of Long-Term projects
I.e. RV roof repair, RV Sealings, RV detailing, Van repairs, custom work.
o Assist in Camper Van Conversions and Custom Van Builds
I.e. Carpentry projects based off plans
o Assist in Mechanical or electrical repair, as needed.
o Assist in Vehicle and RV Sales
o Other related projects as they come up
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED preferred
3 years working experience in maintenance or management preferred
Basic Computer knowledge and Microsoft office
Good people skills
Capable of working independently (self-motivated)
