Family tourism business with three-generation track record needs help. Currently manager of 25 years ready to move on, next generation not old enough to work yet:) Looking for high energy person who can keep business competitive and thriving and take over the marketing/management end of the business, family will continue the actual tours.
Must have good understanding of seasonal tourism business and do whatever it takes mentality, thrive in hectic summer schedules, and possess strong customer service and social media skills.
Duties to start off:
Marketing, specifically through vendor websites, social media, and email campaigns.
Hiring, paperwork and payroll (assisted) for 30-40 seasonal staff.
Staff and third party vendor (travel agent) training in sales techniques and customer service.
Outdoor, on-the-ground quality control and guest interactions
Full-time, year-round position, though hours and schedule very flexible during the winter months. Goal would be long term employment for individual who wants to make this their own.
