HAP Alaska-Yukon is the Land Tour Operator for Holland America and Princess Cruise lines in Alaska and the Yukon.
We provide unmatched experiences and adventures for our guests.
The Tour Divisions operate the Port Operations, Rail, Transportation, Hotels, Escorted Tours and
Guest Services around the state.
Approximately 4,000-4,500 seasonal employees are hired statewide during normal Seasonal operations.
Property Claims is the “Sherlock Holmes” department of the company. They assist in tracking down misdirected/delayed luggage. Property Claims Specialists communicate with guests, other divisions, and vendors regarding any lost/found items and coordinates shipping of items/luggage to guests or other company locations. Property Claims department will also maintain records, reports, and logs as well as stores any found and unclaimed items.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for processing delayed and damaged luggage/property claims filed in Anchorage, AK.
Provide customer service to follow up on all claims filed and search for lost claims.
Present claim procedures to guests as needed.
Communicate regularly with other divisions regarding delayed and/or missing luggage/personal property.
Creates, maintains, and prepares reports for local office as well as for both Holland America Line and
Princess Cruises Corporate Departments.
Prepares luggage for shipment.
Responsible for communicating with ship staff and 3rd party vendors regarding the shipping of luggage.
Assist in general luggage operations at various locations within Anchorage.
Assist guests and employees with general questions and inquiries.
Job Qualifications:
Proficiency in the use of computer business applications and internet.
Two years of experience in property claims or customer service positions is preferred.
Current, valid driver's license, with clean driving record. Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested.
Must meet Company's clean driver eligibility requirements.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Must be comfortable driving in town and navigating to new locations.
Some out-of-town driving may be required.

Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
