Divots Golf is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join the Anchorage team! This position is part time with variable hours. Extensive golf knowledge and experience are not required, but it is helpful. All necessary technical skills to run the golf simulators will be trained once hired. We are looking for people who are skilled in customer service and it is imperative that they possess initiative and are dependable.

Job Description
Required Qualification
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Willingness to take initiative and be a problem solver
Must be responsible, accountable, and have a high level of integrity
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the service or hospitality industry
Cash handling experience
Basic knowledge of golf and the golf industry
Comfortable working with technology
TAP certified (not required, but will need to complete certification prior to first day)
Duties
Perform daily customer service duties to ensure a positive customer experience and efficient business operation including;
Welcoming guests and checking them in
Training new guests on how to properly use the golf simulators
Troubleshoot the simulator equipment if an issues arises
Service of food and beverage
Taking guest reservations online, via phone, and walk ins
Using a POS system to run customer tabs and complete the checkout process
Restocking food and beverage coolers
Light cleaning duties including vacuuming, take out trash, wiping down tables, etc as needed
Wage
Hourly non-exempt position at a starting rate of $15.25 per hour plus tips. Rate will increase after 90 day probation.
Work Hours
Work hours will vary from month to month based on scheduling needs - partly self-scheduling with other employees for shift coverage.
