Become a STEM coach at an afterschool program! No prior STEM experience is required—just a willingness to learn, stay curious, and embrace the core principles of STEM: teamwork, observation, hypothesizing, asking questions, and being a positive STEM role model. You’ll receive training and support to help you succeed.
+The program requires a total of 100 hours over 10 weeks, which could look like 2-3 hours per day, 4-5 days a week.
+A location as convenient to you as possible
In return for your service, STEM Coaches will receive:
+A $1,100 cash stipend
+A $388.03 Education Scholarship from the National Service Trust
+Opportunity to earn Micro-credentials in STEM activity facilitation
+Experience and career networking in afterschool education

+AmeriCorps listed on your resume
