MBA Consulting Engineers, Inc. has an opportunity for an experienced engineer to join our Electrical Department team. At MBA our goal is to design cost effective and robust solutions for our clients. As an Senior Electrical Engineer at MBA, you will be the Engineer of Record on dedicated projects and be responsible for supervising and leading coordination meetings, providing quality control for Project Managers. You will mentor EITs and supervise staff engineers, participate in budgeting, generating fee proposals, and scheduling.
Other responsibilities include:
Establishing design standards and specifications for projects
Analyzing system options and building conditions
Coordinating interdisciplinary consultants
Supervising construction assistance via site visits
Generating field reports, responses to RFIs, and addenda, etc.
Job Requirements
Successful candidates must have a current Electrical Engineering PE registration in the State of Alaska (or be able to work toward their Alaska certificate within 6 months). Experience with industrial and commercial projects such as airfield storage buildings and airfield lighting, hatcheries, educational facilities, and healthcare projects.

Be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
This job requires:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accredited Institution
8 years minimum PE experience
10+ years experience in engineering consulting firm (MEP Engineering Industry)
Supervisory experience
Design and CAD/REVIT experience
Arctic Engineering
CSI CDT (beneficial)
RCDD Certification (beneficial)
