MBA is looking for a seasoned engineer to share the Electrical Department Responsibilities. The successful manager will eventually take over the full duties of the Electrical Department.
As an Electrical Engineer at MBA Consulting Engineers, Inc., you will be the Engineer of Record on dedicated projects and be responsible for supervising and leading coordination meetings. You will lead and supervise staff members as they perform their tasks, and participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management. You will provide quality control for other Project Managers.
Additional responsibilities include:
Establishing design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects
Supervising preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions
Maintaining interdisciplinary coordination with other trades/projects consultants
Supervise construction administrative duties such as field reports, responses to RFIs, and addenda, etc.
Generate Fee Proposals

Job Requirements
Successful candidates must have a current PE registration. Someone with the history of working with projects such as Airfield Warm Storage Buildings, Airfield Lighting, Hatcheries, Educational Facilities, Healthcare, Commercial, and Industrial projects would be a good fit for this dynamic role.
Additional requirements include:
Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from an Accredited Institution
5 years minimum PE experience
10+ years' experience working in a consulting firm, this role requires a strong background in MEP Engineering
Industry
Supervisory experience
Hands-on design and CAD/REVIT experience
Arctic Engineering
CSI CDT Beneficial
RCDD Certification Beneficial
