Job Summary:Responsible for day to day operations of the parts department. Expedites parts pick up or delivery as needed or requested. Works with Maintenance Department to provide needed equipment and supplies.Essential Functions:1. Expedite trips to local vendors to pick up purchases or deliver merchandise.2. Ensure shipping and receiving of serviceable and repairable parts. Check that they are clean and drained of any fluid and attachments are removed as needed.3. Complete HAZMAT shipping documents as needed.4. Inspect shelf life components monthly per company policy.5. Assists with identifying, locating, and purchasing of GSE parts.6. Stock serviceable parts from inspection area of receiving.7. Support Stockroom counter as needed.8. Monitor tool calibration program for Anchorage.9. Prepare purchase orders for shop supplies, consumables, and stock items to ensure stock levels are maintained.10. Prepare M-10 s for repairable parts utilizing CALM Database for proper green tag ABD repair order information.11. Keep your work areas clean and free of hazards; correct unsafe conditions when encountered and report those that you can t personally correct to a supervisor.12. Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and stockroom floor area.13. Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate.14. Build an organizational culture in which passion for continuous improvement is innate.Qualifications:1. Requires the ability to understand, retain, and deliver information verbally and written.2. Requires good organizational, attention to detail, and record keeping skills and the ability to maintain current and updated information.3. Requires the ability to input and retrieve information from a database.4.
