Responsibilities :
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations and portions.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within the food industry.
Knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of quality in food preparation.
A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy nutritious meals.
Certification in Food Handling is required.
Must be available to commute to Girdwood, Anchorage, Palmer.
