As a Line Cook at Palmer Alehouse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the preparation and presentation of our dishes meet our high standards. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to execute a variety of dishes, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and uphold food safety practices.
-Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to our recipes and standards. Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality and consistency.
Station Management: Manage your designated station efficiently, including grilling, sautéing, frying, or other cooking techniques as required.
Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the freshness and quality of ingredients. Check and adjust seasoning and portion sizes as needed.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage and disposal of food items. Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines.
-Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred, but not required. Training provided for the right candidate.
Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and follow instructions accurately.
Knowledge: Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations. Familiarity with various cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
Attitude: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for cooking and food.
