We also sell directly to consumers through our online website, and through our recently opened tasting room at our chocolate factory in mid-town Anchorage.
About the Job:
-We are seeking a chocolatier to:
make and package our various types of chocolates,
periodically provide tasting notes and critical feedback on new chocolate product development (e.g., eating lots of chocolate),
perform various production support activities (eg, help to organize the warehouse that stores raw materials and finished goods, taking periodic inventory of raw materials and finished products, daily cleaning of facility)
-Full or part time role, starting pay depending on experience (minimum starting pay $16.50/hr).
-If part time, options to go full time as opportunities arise.
-Part time employment benefits include tasting room gratuity sharing, 401k plan with 6% match (with 90 days successful employment), bonus pay, educational reimbursement, and subsidized child care. Full time benefits include all part time benefits plus 6 paid holidays per year, and 2 weeks of paid vacation per year.

About You:
-Work commitment of 35-40 hours per week for full time, 15 - 25 hours for part time.
-Have some experience in a commercial kitchen (we can train on making chocolates).
-Hard working, good spirited, takes initiative, and works well in teams and small groups.
-Able to lift 50 pound boxes.
