Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cook/Dishwasher to join our team at a bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about culinary arts and committed to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure food safety protocols are strictly followed during all stages of food preparation
- Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
- Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and grinders effectively
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing storage areas
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food industry best practices and procedures
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering concepts is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of basic culinary techniques and food safety guidelines
